How to Update and Customize Your OVOU Profile Information

Editing Your OVOU Profile Content

Keeping your OVOU profile up to date ensures your contacts always see the most accurate, engaging, and relevant information. In this guide, you’ll learn how to edit your profile content, update your appearance, customize your link settings, and manage your content blocks.

Edit Your Profile Content

Use the Profile tab to update core sections of your OVOU profile.
  1. Log in to your OVOU account.
  2. Click Edit to open your profile editor.
  3. In the Profile tab, update sections such as:
    1. About: Tell your story and give context to your work.
    2. Social Media: Add platforms to help contacts connect with you.
    3. Photo Gallery: Share moments or examples of your work.
    4. Links: Direct people to websites, portfolios, booking pages, etc.
    5. Files: Share resumes, brochures, or other key documents.
    6. Contact Info: Keep your phone number, email or address current.
  4. Click Save when you're done.
Important Notes
Saved Contacts Updates to your profile will not automatically apply to contacts who have previously saved your details. They will only see the changes if they click on your profile link again.
Team Members: If you are unable to update your profile, it might be because your admin locked down certain fields. Reach out to them to update your profile.

Update Your Appearance

The Appearance tab lets your control your profile's visual design and basic identity details.
  1. Go to your Appearance tab in the editor.
  2. Here you can update your:
    1. Profile photo
    2. Theme colour
    3. First and last name
    4. Job title
    5. Company logo
  3. Click Save to apply your changes.
A polished photo and consistent branding enhance the trust and professionalism of your profile.

Configure Your Profile Settings

Use the Profile Settings tab to personalize your URL, and enable advanced sharing and capture features.
  1. Edit your custom Profile Link. Think of this as the custom URL to your personal website. More info here.
  2. Toggle Require company name if you want to make that field mandatory in the lead capture form. Learn more about this feature here.
  3. The Instant Lead Capture toggle allows you to collect information before people see your profile. Learn more about this feature here.

Manage Your Content Blocks

The Manage Content area allows you to show, hide, and reorder the sections that appear on your public profile.


  1. Click Manage Content at the top of the editor.
  2. Use the toggles to show or hide specific sections:
    1. About
    2. Links
    3. Social Media
    4. Video
    5. Contact Info
    6. Photo Gallery
    7. Files
  3. Use the arrows to reorder sections. Place your most important info at the top.
  4. Click Save to update your layout.

FAQs

Can I update all fields on my profile?
Yes, unless you're in a Teams account with admin-level restrictions.

How fast are profile changes visible?
All changes are reflected immediately on your live profile.

Will previous contacts see my updates?
No, people who saved your profile before an update won't see changes, but will still have access to your OVOU profile.
