Require Company Name on Contact Exchange

Ensure accurate lead information by making the company name a required field on your contact exchange form. This feature is especially beneficial for users who rely on CRM systems that require company or account names.



How it Works

When "Require Company Name" is enabled, the company name field moves to the first page of the contact exchange form and becomes mandatory. This ensures that all leads provide their company information before proceeding.
  1. If the feature is disabled, the company name field is optional and located on the second page of the contact exchange form.
  2. If the feature is enabled, the company name is mandatory on the first page of the contact exchange form.

Enabling "Require Company Name"

For Individual Users and Team Members:
  1. Log in to your OVOU Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Profile > Profile Settings.
  3. Toggle the "Require Company Name" option to enable it.
For Administrators (Global Settings):
  1. Log in to your OVOU Dashboard as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Global Permissions.
  3. Toggle the "Require Company Name for contact exchanges" option to enable it.
NotesEnabling this setting at the admin level enforces the company name requirement for all members, and they will be unable to modify this setting individually.
